Who we are

Yinson Renewables is a clean energy infrastructure developer and power producer. We were established in 2019 with the aim of safeguarding energy security in communities and countries, through the generation of clean, sustainable energy from renewable energy assets.

Sustainable energy

We’re on track to becoming a leading global renewable energy independent power producer, contributing to the global energy transition to a sustainable energy system, while delivering long-term value to our stakeholders.

Our primary focus is onshore wind and solar, but we continually explore other renewable energy technologies and enablers.

We operate across the full value chain, including early-stage site investigation, community engagement, gaining necessary consents, securing grid connection and offtake agreements, financing, constructing and ultimately managing operational generation assets. We have strong relationships across the global supply chain, which helps us manage and maintain costs and supply.

Locations

As well as working in Aotearoa New Zealand, we’re currently developing renewable energy infrastructure in:

  • Asia Pacific: India, Indonesia and Malaysia
  • Latin America: Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru
  • Europe: Italy

Here in Aotearoa New Zealand, we aim to become a leading independent power producer and long-term owner-operator of renewable energy assets, with a focus on onshore wind. Our wind projects range from small- to large-scale projects and are in various stages of development across the country.

We’re committed to working with local communities to build local economies and local assets, over the long-term. We’re involved from ‘end-to-end’ on all our projects and believe our wind farms can offer a range of economic, employment, cultural, social and environmental benefits, both locally and nationally.

New Zealand is a very important market to us.
